CS|KIDS OCC INFORMATION

On November 19, the CSKIDS will pack boxes for Operation Christmas Child. You'll find information below.

1. We will have a joint event on Nov 19 from 6:30 to 7:30 to pack shoe boxes for Operation Christmas Child.

2. Each CSKIDS class will prepare 2 shoe boxes each. 1 boy and 1 girl. The classes will determine the age range for each box.

3. On Oct 1st, classes will choose the age range of their boxes.

4. On Oct 8th, parents will get a letter explaining everything.

5. From Oct. 8th through Nov. 12th, we will receive items donated for the shoeboxes for their class OCC box. We encourage parents if they make a donation to shop for the item with their child.

Operation Christmas Child (OCC) boxes should not include food, candy, gum, liquids, lotions, medications, batteries, toothpaste, soap, and anything scary, war-related (like toy weapons), fragile (such as glass or snow globes), or used/damaged. Sharp objects and other items that could cause harm, such as razors or aerosol cans, are also prohibited.

Please remember that all items must be small enough to fit in a shoebox, even when there are many items.

6. On Nov 19th we will pack and pray over the shoe boxes.

7. During collection week, Joseph and Laura will take boxes to the New Life collection site.

8. We will show a video highlighting OCC at the end of CSKIDS from now until packing day.
