There will be a called business meeting, this Sunday after the morning worship, for the church council to present a recommendation for our Youth and Children pastor search committee.

The CSBC Sunday Night Studies takes place at 5 p.m. in the fellowship hall. Pastor Bo will lead us through a 10-week DVD series based on the best-selling book by Dane Ortlund. Focusing on Jesus’ words in Matthew 11:29 that He is “gentle and lowly in heart,” this study will guide us through a complete biblical portrait of what Jesus said and demonstrated in the Bible about His heart for sinners and sufferers.

Jody is putting on a concert where he sings some old-time favorites like, "He Touched Me", "I Can Only Imagine", "God is Good All the Time", and lots more. Grab some friends and come join us on August 14th at 5 p.m. inside Cedar Street Baptist Church. Special guest, Woody Nasworthy, will also be singing.

Are you wanting to become a member of Cedar Street Baptist Church? Pastor Bo will begin his 8 week prospective members class on August 21 at 9:45 a.m. in his office. Atendees are not obligated to join after the classes are over.
