CSBC NEWSLETTER 1.8.23

There will be NO Wednesday Night Ministries this week. Happy New Year!

Start your new year in the Bible. Here is a reading plan for 2023.

Come out this Sunday and support Ronnie Newham as he gets baptised during the morning worship service.

CSBC will have a New Year's Fellowship & Sing on Sunday, January 8 at 5 p.m. in the fellowship hall. We're asking everyone to bring their favorite finger foods, snacks, and drinks. We will also have a game and sing hymns. Everyone is welcome to join us.

Enjoy a morning of painting with the girls from the youth home on Saturday, January 14 at 9:30 a.m. Everyone will meet in the CSBC fellowship hall. The cost is $30 and space is limited, so please contact Sharon Jarrell for details. Brunch will be served. We are asking anyone, who is able, to sponsor one of the four girls from the youth home. Please sign up by 1.11.23.

There will be a meet & greet on Saturday, January 14 at 6 p.m. with Dalton Houser, our new Youth Pastor candidate, in the fellowship hall. Dalton will then speak on Sunday the 15th in view of a call. The church will have a special called business meeting to vote that morning.

Baptist Men's Day is Sunday, January 22 2023. We are encouraging all men to attend and also to fill the choir loft that morning. Brenton Harris from Loving Hands Ministries will be our speaker for that morning.

CEDAR STREET - Reaching out until there is NO PLACE LEFT! (NPL) The vision is that we pray and make disciples in every segment of every city until there is NO PLACE LEFT that has not heard about Jesus. A movement of movements aimed at getting to no place left where Christ is not made known in our generation—no people group, ethnic group, city or segment. (Romans 15:23)
