CSBC NEWSLETTER 11.13.22

Because of Revival, our regular Wednesday night ministries are not meeting tonight. We'll resume next week on the 16th. You are more than welcome to join us for Revival. Each CSKid that comes tonight will be counted and can visit the prize table at the end of the service.

Our Revival services finish tonight at 6:30 p.m. Brother Mike Howard has done such a fantastic job this week bringing the Gospel, and we look forward to tonight as well. Clayton & Leah Hackle will be in the service ministering to us through song.

CSBC will have an afternoon of fun and fellowship Sunday, November 13. There will NOT be any Sunday School and our morning worship will be at 10 a.m. Be sure to bring sides, drinks, desserts, and trimmings to go with hot dogs and hamburgers. Also, bring serving spoons if your dish requires it. Remember to bring a folding chair and five dollars for the parking fee.

The CSBC Brotherhood will have a wild game supper on Tuesday, November 15 at 7 p.m. in the fellowship hall. All men are invited. Bill Vansant from New Life Barptist Church will be our guest speaker. Grab some friends and join us!

The Golden Agers are collecting non-perishable food items for their Thanksgiving baskets. Boxes are located around the church for your donations.

Start bringing your sock donations now for the Orchard Rehab Christmas Party. We are collecting men's and women's socks to hand out during the party on Sunday, December 18 at 5 p.m. The due date for your donations is December 11.

CEDAR STREET - Reaching out until there is NO PLACE LEFT! (NPL) The vision is that we pray and make disciples in every segment of every city until there is NO PLACE LEFT that has not heard about Jesus. A movement of movements aimed at getting to no place left where Christ is not made known in our generation—no people group, ethnic group, city or segment. (Romans 15:23)

Loving Hands Ministries has purchased a house in Reidsville to use in their ministry of helping men out of a life of addiction and into a life of following Jesus. Cedar Street sent a team of men to help prepare the house for ministry. The men installed Electric and textured the walls and ceilings. Loving Hands is hoping to begin serving men by mid-October. In order to make that happen, they need kitchenware: pots, pans, dishes, utensils, glasses, etc. They need a good washer/dryer. They can also use twin sheets/blankets and towels. Please contact the church office or Jim Savage (912-690-2780) if you can donate some new or gently used items, or if you would like to volunteer to help them finish the house.
