CSBC NEWSLETTER 10.30.22

Please make plans to join us for our annual CSBC Fall Festival on TONIGHT from 6:30 - 8pm. Our entire community is invited to participate in this special evening, as children are encouraged to wear non-scary costumes and enjoy free food and fun games. This year, we will have a chili cook-off to raise money for the Ambler family in South Asia. We look forward to seeing you there!

Come help out with church cleanup on October 29 at 8 a.m. We're getting the church prepared for Homecoming.

Visit the CSBC PRAYER HUB For all things related to our prayer list and needs.

Here is the link to see the list of volunteers for this coming Sunday.

Pastor Bo will be back behind the pulpit this Sunday with a message entitled, "Lighthouse Christians". This sermon will come from Romans 12:14-21.

Please join us on Sunday night at 5 p.m. in the Fellowship Hall as Pastor Bo leads us in a new study called "Praying the Bible" with popular teacher and writer Dr. Donald Whitney. In this brief three-session series, we will learn simple and practical ways we can pray God's Word to experience a deeper, more powerful, and more intimate devotional life with the Lord.

Make plans to join us for our Homecoming and Revival services starting Sunday morning November 6. Revival services end on Wednesday, November 9 with each evening service starting at 6:30 p.m. More details in the weeks to come.

CSBC will have an afternoon of fun and fellowship Sunday, November 13. There will NOT be any Sunday School and our morning worship will be at 10 a.m. Mark this day on your calendar.

CEDAR STREET - Reaching out until there is NO PLACE LEFT! (NPL) The vision is that we pray and make disciples in every segment of every city until there is NO PLACE LEFT that has not heard about Jesus. A movement of movements aimed at getting to no place left where Christ is not made known in our generation—no people group, ethnic group, city or segment. (Romans 15:23)

Loving Hands Ministries has purchased a house in Reidsville to use in their ministry of helping men out of a life of addiction and into a life of following Jesus. Cedar Street sent a team of men to help prepare the house for ministry. The men installed Electric and textured the walls and ceilings. Loving Hands is hoping to begin serving men by mid-October. In order to make that happen, they need kitchenware: pots, pans, dishes, utensils, glasses, etc. They need a good washer/dryer. They can also use twin sheets/blankets and towels. Please contact the church office or Jim Savage (912-690-2780) if you can donate some new or gently used items, or if you would like to volunteer to help them finish the house.
