Our CSBC offices will be closed for Thanksgiving.
Local area churches will be holding an event called "The Thanksgiving Table." It will be held on Friday, November 28, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the park in downtown Metter. There will be music and devotions. Furthermore, a meal will be served to the first 200 visitors that arrive. All interested volunteers need to arrive at Cedar Street at 9:30 that morning in the fellowship hall.
There will be NO Choir Practice this Sunday, November 30.
Join us at 5 p.m. in the Fellowship Hall for our Sunday Night Studies. These studies, led by Pastor Bo, explore the great truths of the Christian faith in a discussion-based format as we learn together how to apply these truths to our daily lives.
Starting SUNDAY NEXT, DECEMBER 7, we will begin collecting offerings for the Lottie Moon Christmas offering. Please start praying now about how God would have you give.
Our Christmas party at Orchard Health in Pulaski will be December 14, at 6 p.m. We’re asking for male and female socks for the residents. The deadline to drop off your donation is December 10. We ask that you please do not buy ankle or short socks to donate.
Foundations Resource Center is hosting their annual “Pack the Gingerbread House” Christmas Market on Tuesday, December 2, from 4:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. Everyone is invited to enjoy an evening of shopping, live music, and hot coffee - all to support Foundations! All proceeds go directly back into Foundations.
Jody Nasworthy will hold his annual Christmas concert on Sunday, December 7, at 5 p.m. at Cedar Street Baptist Church. All are welcome!
All CSBC ladies are invited to a night where you will swap recipes for something hot and something sweet. The recipe swap will take place on Thursday, December 11, starting at 6 p.m. in the fellowship hall. Be sure to sign up in the vestibule.
The Brotherhood Christmas Project is quickly approaching. A team will meet on Friday, December 12, at 5 p.m. to go eat and shop for the items. The project will then take place on Monday, December 15, at 6 p.m. to deliver the items to the families. We’re asking all men to please designate 50 dollars to the Brotherhood Christmas Project to help with the cost.
